Grayscale has filed for a 3-for-1 forward share split for its Zcash ETF, a move set to increase the number of shares held by investors. According to CoinTelegraph, at the close of trading on September 28, shareholders will receive two additional shares for every one share they currently own.
This corporate action is designed to make the ETF’s shares more accessible and potentially enhance liquidity. By tripling the outstanding shares, Grayscale aims to attract a broader base of investors interested in Zcash exposure through the ETF.
For Japanese investors, this development could signal growing institutional interest in privacy-focused cryptocurrencies like Zcash, aligning with Japan’s increasing engagement in digital asset investment products and regulatory clarity in the crypto space.
