A total of 3,832 NFTs were moved into whitehat protective custody following a security scare involving the Magic Eden platform. This precautionary measure aims to safeguard the digital assets while potential risks are assessed.

According to CoinTelegraph, Yuga Labs’ representative 0xQuit confirmed that the NFTs remain safe and will be returned to their owners once the threat has been resolved. Meanwhile, NFT holders have been advised to revoke any existing permissions to prevent unauthorized access.

This incident highlights the ongoing security challenges in the NFT space, a concern that resonates with Japanese investors increasingly active in digital asset markets, including FX and equities where risk management remains paramount.
